April 2025, Jaipur —
In a night destined to be etched in IPL history, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, just 14 years old, stunned the world by smashing a breathtaking 100 off just 38 balls for Rajasthan Royals against Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

This incredible knock made him the youngest ever to score a T20 century, and it’s already being hailed as one of the most memorable innings ever witnessed in IPL cricket.

A Night to Remember

The Rajasthan Royals, powered by their dynamic opening pair of Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal, tore into the Titans’ bowling attack from ball one. After a blazing powerplay where Royals posted 87/0 — their highest ever in Jaipur — Suryavanshi led the onslaught.

Reaching his half-century in just 17 balls, the fastest in IPL 2025 so far, Suryavanshi showcased a fearless mix of slog sweeps, elegant drives, and powerful pulls. His sixes rained down especially in the overs bowled by Ishant Sharma and Karim Janat — who went for a staggering 30 runs in one over.

The Special Hundred

Facing Rashid Khan — one of the best T20 spinners in the world — did not faze Suryavanshi. On 94, he pulled Rashid over deep midwicket for six to bring up a historic century.
The stadium erupted. The RR dugout was on its feet, GT players clapped, and even coach Rahul Dravid, who has been seen using a wheelchair recently, stood up in excitement!

Suryavanshi’s final innings read:
101 runs from 38 balls, including 7 fours and 11 sixes.

A Humble End to a Fiery Knock

Suryavanshi was eventually bowled by Prasidh Krishna attempting another big shot. But by then, he had already done enough to create history.
The GT players, led by Prasidh, showed immense sportsmanship, shaking hands and patting the young sensation on his back as he walked off.

Records Broken Tonight:

  • Second Fastest IPL Century: 38 balls (only behind Chris Gayle’s 30-ball blitz in 2013)
  • Youngest T20 Centurion: 14 years, 32 days
  • Fastest IPL 2025 Fifty: 17 balls
  • Highest RR Powerplay Score in Jaipur: 87/0

The Future Is Here

IPL has seen many stars born, but rarely has it witnessed a story as surreal as that of Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
At just 14, the stage doesn’t seem too big for him — he owns it.

If this is just the beginning, the cricketing world is in for a treat for years to come.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi — remember the name.
